Happy New Year, Bonne Annee!

Back to the other major theme of Simmering Senegal:  exploring the local culture.   Jordan joined us from the United States and we spent Christmas and New Year’s  in Mali, sleeping on roof tops under the stars and an increasingly full moon, and traveling the countryside by car and truck, boat, and foot.

Merry Christmas 2009 and Happy New Year 2010, from a rooftop in Djenne, Mali.

In the meantime, here are the links to my presentation in Copenhagen:

part 1 (about 9 mins) here

part 2 (less than 9 mins) here

My best to everyone for a healthy and happy 2010.
